Barcelona v Inter Milan

Well who will line up alongside Bayern Munich in the Champions League Final at the Bernabeu on May 22nd.

Inter are favourites with a best price of 4/6 (Skybet, Victor Chandler) but I fancy the Spaniards at 5/4 (Bet 365, Coral, Stan James).

I feel that the attacking prowess of the Catalans will prevail as they seek to overcome a 2 goal aggregate deficit.

Their is the problem of if Inter score, then they need to score 4 in normal time to qualify in ninty minutes but I believe that they will keep them out and win by at least two if not three goals.

The home side will be without captain Carlos Puyol who is suspended whilst Abidal and Iniesta are doubts.

The Italians are also without Dejan Stankovic through suspension while Mario Balotelli, Goran Pandev and influential playmaker Wesley Sneijder could all miss out.

Lionel Messi, this season's Champions League top goalscorer, has never scored against a team managed by Jose Mourinho, but the current holders chances may rest on the young Argentinian's shoulders.

Although Jose will probably send his troops out to be as tight as they possibly can, like a typical Italian outfit, I do not believe that they can keep this fabolous footballing side at bay.

If Barca can grab an early goal, then I feel that they should progress quite comfortably forcing the Italians to change their game plan and then hitting them on the break.

The Spaniards are too short to back to win the game at 4/9 (Skybet, Stanjames), so I am going for them on the handicap market, as they need to cover it to qualify.

Bets -
2pts Barcelona to qualify @ 5/4 (Bet 365, Coral, Stan James)
1pt Barcelona -1 @ 6/5 (Bet 365)

Lyon v Bayern Munich

The second leg of the Champions League semi-final and tonight we will know the first of this year's finalists. Bayern are favourites to qualify at 2/7 with the hosts best priced 11/4.

Team news -

Lyon midfielder Jeremy Toulalan and Bayern winger Franck Ribery are suspended after first-leg sendings off.

Danijel Pranjic is banned too and Bayern are also certain to be without midfielder Anatoliy Tymoshchuk, who came off the bench in the first leg, as the Ukrainian has a stomach virus.

Coach Louis van Gaal also has concerns over central defensive pair Martin Demichelis and Daniel van Buyten as well after they picked up knocks in the 1-1 league draw against Borussia Moenchengladbach on Saturday.

Although a draw would be good enough to ensure a safe passage through for the Germans I feel that they will be good enough to win on the night.

With Lyon having to score to have any chance they may leave gaps at the back if they end up having to try and force the issue.

With Munich available at 2/1 (Coral, Skybet) I feel the odds are too big not to back so I recommend backing Bayern and also fancy both teams to score in a 2-1 away win.

Bets -

1pt Bayern Munich 2/1 (Coral, Skybet)

0.5pt Bayern Munich to win 2-1 11/1 (Blue Square, Skybet, 888sport)
